Description
The drip arrow is a new type of micro-spray irrigation system emitter. During irrigation, water and nutrients are accurately delivered to the vicinity of the crop’s root zone through the drip arrow using low-pressure water pipes. The arrow shaft features a turbulent flow path, which helps maintain a stable flow rate within a certain range despite pressure changes. When used in conjunction with a pressure-compensating dripper, this provides dual protection to ensure uniform and stable water output. Additionally, the drip arrow can be adjusted within a certain range to accommodate crop placement, making it convenient to use.
Common configurations of drip arrows include single drip arrows, double drip arrows, and one-to-four drip arrows. For single drip arrows, the setup is quite simple: connect the turbulent flow path arrow shaft to a PE capillary tube, connect the other side to a pressure-compensating dripper, punch a hole in the capillary tube, insert the pressure-compensating dripper, then insert the drip arrow into the soil near the plant roots and secure it in place.
Applications of Drip Arrows:
- For fruit trees, vineyards, greenhouses, nurseries, and gardens
- Suitable for irrigation in areas with complex terrain
- Ideal for soilless and intermittent irrigation methods
- Prevents excessive water accumulation in low-lying areas
- For potted plants: two or four outlets for drip irrigation
